I established Living Foresight in 2024 after more than 20 years working as a manager, leader, facilitator and strategist in public and community sector organisations in Australia and the UK.
After starting my career in health service management, my experience has encompassed public health strategy, place-based community development, social policy, strategy development, and lots of collaboration and partnerships.
The thread that has run through my work has been a focus on bringing people together to make progress on complex challenges. Through this experience I've learned how to facilitate powerful conversations, how to help organisations sense and respond to change, and how to stay grounded and engaged in complex and ambiguous situations.
My experience in organisations has been complemented by a diverse range of studies, including completing Masters degrees in Strategic Foresight (2017) and Public Health (2008).
In addition to consulting through Living Foresight, I also collaborate with FuturesPlanner, a futures, strategy and risk consultancy based in Melbourne, co-host the Complex Mess Community with Meredith Bowden of Talking Futures, and serve as a Director of Communities That Care Ltd, a not-for-profit that supports community partnerships for children and young people's wellbeing.
